Brightness and Luminous Efficacy Parameters
The brightness of LED work lights is usually expressed in lumens (lm), which is an indicator of the total amount of light emitted. Common work light brightness ranges from 1000-5000 lumens, suitable for various working environments. Luminous efficacy reflects the efficiency of converting electrical energy into light energy, measured in lumens per watt (lm/W). High-efficiency work lights can reach over 100 lm/W.
Color Temperature and Color Rendering Index
Color temperature determines the perceived warmth or coolness of light, measured in Kelvin (K). The common color temperature range for work lights is 4000K-6500K, with neutral white light around 5000K being most suitable for fine work. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) indicates the ability of a light source to reproduce the true colors of objects; a high-quality work light should have a CRI of 80 or higher.
Durability and Protection Parameters
The lifespan of LED work lights is usually measured in hours, with high-quality products reaching over 30,000 hours. Protection ratings (e.g., IP65) indicate dust and water resistance; outdoor work lights require at least an IP54 protection rating. Operating temperature range is also an important parameter; it can generally operate stably in environments ranging from -20℃ to 50℃.
